Our mission is to provide the most effective method of personal training. Be careful – this is where our passion bubbles over and we have a tendency to leave behind the analytical approach, pragmatism and proven science that we apply to our clients! Other areas of this website describe why and how we’re different (dare we say better!) and how we get to know what our clients need. The aim of this page is to show you why training at Vibe Gym is so different, and so effective.

To put it simply, we are obsessed with improving what we offer, and with remaining at the forefront of forward thinking, real-world applications of all aspects of physical conditioning. We eat, sleep and breathe health and fitness. We learn from the best of the best. This shows in the spectacular results we achieve for our clients and for ourselves.

We are totally unique because we both talk the talk and walk the walk. Armchair experts abound (especially, sadly, in personal training), highly qualified coaches and trainers. We love what we do and are constantly learning and training ourselves. After all – if you can’t train yourself, who can you train?

Vibe Gym was setup by individuals who previously Competed at a national and international level, because we are so passionate about performance and improving the human body. We are constantly driven by the incredible sense of fulfilment we feel when we help someone achieve their goals – no matter if they’re an elite athlete or a middle-aged housewife. We believe that anyone can positively change themselves and their bodies, and we will move heaven and earth to ensure that each and every person who enters our premises leaves feeling happier, more confident, and healthier.

We never impose our own goals on a client. We listen, advise and then coach with that specific goal in mind. We are not rent-a-friend trainers or here to put on a circus show. We are here to get a very specific job done. That job is the one that you set for us – to achieve your own unique version of improved health, fitness and/or physical appearance. We don’t stand back; in fact we get stuck right into every aspect of your life that you are prepared to open up to us. No other way is appropriate for the commitment and investment that you should be making in your health.

Fraser

Gym Director

Area of expertise: Boxing and Strength training

Fraser is a former martial artist in Thai/Kick boxing, Aikido and Karate fighter who began his training in 1983 with a specialism in Aikido.
Holding the European and British Aikido title for two years in succession before retiring.

As a personal trainer specialising in strength and maintenance Fraser incorporates some elements of his martial arts background into his client programmes and believes that training in any form is based on a high level of positive mental attitude, a great deal of focus and self-belief.
Fraser is very passionate about keeping fit and in his spare time trains intensively in the gym combining martial arts with weight training.

Angie

Senior Trainer

Area of expertise: Weight Management; Nutrition; Stamina Training; Body Sculpting

Angie is one of Vibe’s most skilled and dedicated trainers with over 10 year’s Personal Training experience

A walking talking advertisement for Personal Training, she is proof of the results personal training can produce, not only training Clients but ensuring like all ViBe trainers she takes advantage of regular training sessions with a Vibe trainer.

Karly

Personal Trainer

After joining Vibe Gym’s body transformation program in 2022, Karly experienced a profound shift in her perspective on fitness. As she progressed through the program, she discovered that her passion for fitness extended far beyond her own personal goals. Witnessing the remarkable changes, she achieved and the positive impact it had on her life, Karly realised that she had the potential to inspire and encourage others to attain similar results. Motivated by this newfound purpose, she made a life-changing decision to pursue qualifications in the fitness industry.

Now, Karly is living her best life, dedicating herself to helping others on their fitness journeys. With her knowledge and experience, she is a beacon of inspiration for those seeking to transform their bodies and improve their overall well-being. Through her guidance and support, she empowers others to embrace a healthier lifestyle and attain the same sense of fulfilment and achievement she found through her own fitness journey. As a fitness professional, Karly continues to make a positive impact on the lives of many, spreading the joy and benefits of a healthy lifestyle to the community she serves.

Sally

Sports Massage

Area of expertise: Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy

Sally graduated in Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy through the ISRM in 2014 and is an accredited member of the Sports Massage Association and the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

As well as treating private clients at a local practice, Sally is part of the Hertford Rugby Club medical team, providing support in the rehabilitation clinic and pitch side first aid on match days for the last 3 seasons.

Sally is experienced in providing her clients with a wide range of basic treatments to advanced massage techniques. She has a vast knowledge and hands on experience using the following techniques:-
– Sports Massage
– Remedial Massage
– Deep Tissue Massage
– Lymphatic Drainage
– Soft Tissue Release
– Myofascial Release
– Muscle Energy Techniques
– Stretching

She individually tailors treatments using these techniques to treat clients with chronic discomfort, muscular pain and imbalances to restore them to full functional fitness and prevent further injury. She also uses sports massage as a key component to aid recovery from sport or work/lifestyle related conditions.

Sally is passionate about sport and dedicates her free time to the gym, focussing on strength and conditioning training. She is a yoga enthusiast and competed in triathlons and marathons.

Vibe has an owner that cares and that know you by name and know what they are doing. The atmosphere is friendly and non intimidating and the free monthly personal training session ensures you get results.

I have been a member of many gyms throughout Hertfordshire, Essex and London over the past 20 years and can honestly say that since joining vibe in 2010, I’ve never felt fitter and i’ve never looked back.
